# Web RTC - High Resolution

### Explanation of Web RTC - High Resolution

The Web RTC - High Resolution uses the concept of **ImageCapture** interface of the [MediaStream Image Capture API](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/MediaStream_Image_Capture_API). It is to provides methods that enable the capture of images or photos from a camera or other photographic device. It provides an interface for capturing images from a photographic device referenced through a valid **MediaStreamTrack**.

### Supported Operating System

1. Android

This high resolution image capturing method is only working on Android operating system. As for iOS, another [method](/other/okayid-web-camera/web-rtc-high-resolution.md) is used.
